I hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer (yes, we still have a few left!) Just wanted to share a little game inspired by the multiple reminders from the Universe to actively to up the giggle factor in my life.
Joy o' Clock
So, if you're anything like me, you may have had to struggle to prioritize joy into your schedule. It sounds silly because who wouldn't want to experience joy? Especially since we are literally joy-love beings. Nonetheless, I've had session after session where clients have been struggling to fit joy into their life and I'm well aware that we teach what we most need to learn ;) It was basically my Angel's way of saying, "Gee Chernise, doesn't that sound nice? Why don't you give it a try?" So they inspired me to create Joy o' Clock which is literally the most basic way to bring joy into your life if you're having trouble making room in your calendar (or even remembering to) for joyous events.
It's extremely simple.
1) Pick up your cell phone.
2) Pick a time (any time) and program the words "Joy o' Clock" into your calendar so it will remind you at the same time every day of the week.
3) When said alarm goes off, simply feel and/or think joyous thoughts for 5 minutes
Easy, right? You can literally do this anywhere. If you're at work you can dash into the loo, if you're at home you can just close your eyes for 5 minutes, if you're out with friends you can just excuse yourself for a sec. The wonderful thing about it is that you'll be lining up with that joyous energy which will help attract joyful experiences. It will also make it easier for you to see and embrace them when they show up.
The other great thing about this is that now is the time for us to grow through joy rather than struggle. For most of us it's just a matter of training ourselves out of an old habit or an old belief that there must be struggle in order for there to be growth. There may be struggle with growth, yes, but there doesn't have to be. And this is one of those little things that seems little but is actually pretty big because when you're in the space of joy, a lot of those lower vibration emotions won't even hit you - they're vibrating on another plane. Green monster? Pshah! If you're feeling great because you're regularly going out dancing which is something you've wanted to do for a while, you won't be able to be in the space of envy in that moment. And the more you prioritize joy, the more life will reflect that. Good stuff, right!
I would love to hear your experiences with this game so please write them below!
All the love,
